Terms of Sale

The short version: one flat price, one round of revisions included, and when you pay, you own the site outright — your hosting account, your files, no subscription, no lock-in.

These terms govern the purchase of a website rebuild from Oculus Ventures Studio (“Studio,” “we,” “us”), a service of Oculus Ventures. By completing a purchase through our Stripe checkout, you (“you,” the “Buyer”) agree to these terms.

1. What you are buying

A one-time website rebuild for the fixed price shown at checkout (currently $750 USD). The purchase includes:

• The website exactly as shown in your preview, finalized for production.
• One round of revisions. A “round” is a single consolidated list of change requests, submitted together after purchase. We make the changes and present the result for your approval.
• Installation of the finished site into a free Cloudflare Pages account that you own, under your own login.
• Configuration of your custom domain on that account, plus the exact DNS instructions (a ready-to-forward email) for your registrar or DNS host.
• Activation of your contact forms and, if you provide a Google Analytics measurement ID, your analytics.
• A complete export of all site files (zip), so you can move the site to any host or developer at any time.
• Reasonable email support through your go-live.

2. What is not included

• Domain registration or renewal fees (your domain stays at your registrar, under your control — we never take your registrar login).
• Additional revision rounds beyond the one included. Each additional round is a flat $100 USD, payable by Stripe link before the work begins.
• New content, copywriting, photography, or logo design. The site is built from your existing content; we do not invent material.
• Ongoing maintenance, hosting management, or email hosting. Cloudflare Pages hosting is free at your usage level, billed (at $0) to your own account, and is governed by Cloudflare's terms, not ours.

3. Your content and your responsibilities

• You confirm that the content on your existing website — text, images, logo, menus, and other materials — is yours or used with permission. The rebuild reuses that content; we rely on your rights to it.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of business information (hours, prices, addresses, claims). We port it verbatim; tell us in your revision round if anything is out of date.
• Going live requires two small actions only you can take: creating your free Cloudflare account (and temporarily adding us so we can install the site), and updating one DNS record at your registrar or DNS host (or forwarding the instructions we write to whoever manages it).

4. Ownership

• Your content always remains yours.
• Upon full payment and delivery, we assign to you all of our rights in the delivered site — design, code, and structure. You own it outright and may host, modify, or resell it without restriction and without attribution.
• Before purchase, the redesign (the design and code we created, excluding your content) remains our property; previews are shown for your evaluation only.
• We may display before/after images of the project in our portfolio. Tell us in writing if you prefer we not.

5. Approval and go-live

Your site is published to your domain only after you approve the finished build on your private review page. The DNS change that makes it live is yours to perform, on your schedule. Until you approve, nothing changes about your existing website.

6. Payment and refunds

• Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Full refund, no questions asked, any time before the site is installed into your Cloudflare account. Once the site is installed or the file export is delivered — whichever comes first — the sale is final, because at that point you own everything.

7. Timelines

We aim to have your site installed for final review within three business days of receiving your onboarding details and revision list. Timelines depend on your responses (account creation, approvals, DNS).

8. Third-party services

The delivered site relies on services we don't control: Cloudflare Pages (hosting), Web3Forms (form delivery), Google Analytics (if you enable it), Stripe (payment), and your domain registrar. Each is governed by its own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability, pricing changes, or policy changes after delivery.

9. Disclaimers

Beyond the deliverables described in Section 1, the site is provided as-is. We do not guarantee search-engine rankings, traffic levels, or business results.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of a purchase is limited to the amount you paid us, and neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. General

• We may decline and refund any order.
• These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the State of New York.
• If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
